These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Zoēs website, APIs, and browser extension (collectively, the "Services"). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service Description

Zoēs provides email and link safety analysis to help identify risky content. We follow a privacy-by-design approach, collecting only the minimum data required for analysis and product operation.

2. Accounts and Access

• You are responsible for safeguarding your account and restricting access.
• You must provide accurate information and keep it up-to-date.
• You will not misuse the Services or attempt to circumvent security.

3. Plans and Billing

• Paid features require an active subscription processed via Stripe.
• Plan changes, cancellations, and billing issues are handled by Stripe checkout/portal.
• Access to paid features is granted only while the subscription is active or trialing.

4. Acceptable Use

• No reverse engineering, scraping, or abusive load on our infrastructure.
• No use to violate applicable laws, third-party rights, or platform policies.
• No attempts to de-anonymize or re-identify hashed or aggregated data.

5. Privacy

We minimize personal data processing and avoid storing raw email contents whenever possible. Please review our Privacy Policy for details on what we collect, why, and how we protect it.

6. Security

• Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
• We implement role-based access controls and audit logging on critical actions.
• We do not log sensitive tokens or PII in plaintext.

7. Intellectual Property

The Services, including content, software, and branding, are owned by Zoēs or its licensors. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or other IP.

8. Disclaimers

The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant that detection or analysis will be error-free. You remain responsible for your decisions based on the results.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zoēs shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or to prevent harm. You may stop using the Services at any time. Upon termination, certain provisions survive, including IP, disclaimers, and limitations of liability.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to our Services or policies. Material changes will be announced via the app. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
